GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
Research Africa invites submission of articles and contributions in any area of academic endeavour relevant for publication in any of its journals. Papers must examine relevant and topical issues in any area covered by any of the journals currently published by Research Africa. For the law journals, papers and must put into cognisance, case law development and relevant international practices in the areas covered. Case review, book review, policy review, current developments, notes and comments including empirical and policy oriented papers are also welcome.
Authors should submit their manuscript in A4 paper format. Manuscripts should not be more than ten thousand words in case of articles and in case of case reviews, three thousand, five hundred words. Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft word format, 12 font size and double spacing. Articles in the Law journals category must comply with the NALT Referencing Guide currently in use.
All Articles submitted should carry the name(s) of the author(s), contact address, telephone numbers and e-mail address on a separate page. Authors should indicate the degree(s) or qualification(s) obtained and also their academic and professional affiliations and any other facts about them that may be relevant on the separate page.
Contributions submitted must be the original work of the author. Research Africa will only accept for publication articles submitted which are not under consideration for publication by another journal and/or has been published in another journal. Where the author is interested in having an already published article published in any Research Africa Journal, a written authority from the original publishers is required.
Where the work submitted contains materials which is someone else’s copyright, the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to use the material must be obtained and evidence of such forwarded along with the article. Also, the material should be identified and acknowledged with the work. Submitted works should not, to the best of the author’s knowledge, contain anything which is libelous, illegal, or infringes on anyone’s copyright or other rights.
